Far-UVC Technology

With a peak wavelength of 222nm, the Ushio Care222 light source is designed to ensure effective germicidal action for air and surfaces while maintaining safety for occupied spaces. Over 50 peer-reviewed studies and clinical trials have confirmed the safety of Far-UVC, with the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH) establishing Threshold Limit Values (TLV) for UVC exposure. Visium™ complies with these TLVs, ensuring safe operation in all recommended settings. The device is also UL certified to UL 8802 for 24/7 operation for occupied spaces.
